Liège waffles are the unknown but tastier sister to the familiar Belgian-style waffle. They’re made from brioche-like dough, making them super buttery & rich. The addition of a Tbsp. of pearl sugar crystals that caramelizes on the outside & add a surprising crunch to the inside makes them truly something special.
After scouring the country looking for the liège waffle Rachel Thompson knew could exist outside of Belgium, she ended up being disappointed. What did Rachel do? She came back to Minnesota & started making her own recipe. After operating out of Minneapolis for 6 years, we’re now Duluth based!
